Learn about Neverwinter character creation, including choosing starting feats, spells, domains, and customizing appearance.

Your character in Neverwinter can select a number of starting Feats (special abilities or traits) based on their class. More specific Feats information can be found in the Feats section.

If you choose a spellcasting character, you will need to select your starting spells. Clerics must pick a Domain (a source of divine power). Wizards and Sorcerers must choose a Spell School (a specialization in magic) and a Familiar (a magical companion). Information on Domains, Spell Schools, and Familiars can be found in their respective sections.

During character creation, you can select from a variety of heads, body types, clothing, and tattoos for your character. You can also change skin, hair, and tattoo color.

To finish Character Creation, you must enter a name or choose a random one. You will also fill in a short character description that other players will see when they examine your character. Finally, choose your character's voice, which they will use in response to certain actions in the game and when giving Quickchat commands. Congratulations on creating your character; it is a daunting task, and now you are ready to begin your adventures.
