Vault 11 and Vault 3

Make your way to Vault 11 along the northern end of the El Dorado Dry Lake, then head down a natural cave tunnel to reach the opened vault door. Pick up a 10mm Pistol and some ammo near the entrance.

Download the “Security Recording: Vault Entrance” from a nearby terminal and listen to the “System Recording: Vault 11 Front Entrance” note.

Continue north through another door to encounter Giant Rats, then proceed through another door north to a small clinic infested with Mantises. Loot two First Aid Boxes.

Go through a door to the west to find a hallway with two rooms. The first contains a Public Terminal discussing the vault’s democratic process. The second room contains a dead NCR Trooper to loot.

Return to the four-doored room and go through a door to the east to reach a hallway. Loot bathrooms to the north, or follow the hallway east or west to find stairs down.

Explore the lower level rooms with minor loot, bugs, rats, and rigged Terminals. Continue down until you find the door to the Vault 11 Living Quarters at the southern end of this level.

In the Vault 11 Living Quarters, head around a corner, then south down stairs and through a door. Loot a First Aid Box and components (Fission Batteries and Conductors) behind a counter.

Go through a door north or south and down stairs to the actual living quarters, occupied by Giant Rats or Giant Mantises.

In the south-western most of the northern four rooms, unlock a Personal Terminal [Very Easy] using the password found in a Footlocker under metal shelves (“Roy Gottlieb’s Terminal Password”). Download the “Security Recording” entry to get the note “Justice Bloc HQ Security Tapes”.

In the north-western of the southern-most rooms, find a copy of Pugilism Illustrated on the ground near a collapsed Dresser.

Return upstairs to the first room of this level and go through a door to the west, then south. Pass by a locked door [Hard] and a Terminal [Hard] for now.

Continue south into a security room. Loot a variety of ammo, including four Ammo Boxes on metal shelves behind a counter. Access the “Security Terminal” on the counter to find the “Deposition” entry.

Return to the hallway north, then pick the locked door [Hard] or hack the Terminal [Hard] to access a room containing a Mini Nuke, a Mine Box, four Ammo Boxes, and assorted loose ammo.

Return to the hallway and head north, down stairs and through a door to reach the Vault 11 Lower Level.

Continue down stairs north, through a doorway, and down a hallway, turning east. At an intersection, ignore the Overseer’s office to the east.

Go down a tunnel to the south, turning east, then down the first flight of stairs to the south.

Go through the first door to the east and disable a Tripwire that triggers a Grenade Bouquet.

Along the eastern side of the room, disable another Tripwire that triggers a swinging beam trap. Loot two Ammo Boxes and a First Aid Box.
