Walkthrough
  1. 1
Broc Flower Cave: Locate the cave northeast of the Raided Farmstead. Harvest Broc Flowers and enter the cave. Follow the southeastern path, past a mine cart with a radioactive barrel. Continue through tunnels until you reach a chamber with radioactive barrels and Giant Rats. Clear the rats and proceed northeast into more tunnels, then up a slope to a walkway. Snipe Giant Rats from this vantage point. Follow the ledge east to a lab. Inside the lab, find a Programmer’s Digest magazine on a table, surgical supplies, First Aid Boxes, an Ammo Box, a Doctor’s Bag, and chems. On a north-eastern desk, find a Sunset Sarsaparilla Crate and a Radiation Suit. On the table, you’ll find another Programmer’s Digest magazine, a Today’s Physician magazine, chems, and the unique weapon Ratslayer. Drop down into the chamber below and loot near the radioactive barrels in the center for an Ammo Box, a Knife, a copy of Lad’s Life, and a .357 Magnum Revolver. Head southwest into a tunnel to return to the entrance, completing a loop.
  2. 2
Legion Raid Camp: Head west from Broc Flower Cave to find the Legion Raid Camp. You’ll find Powder Ganger slaves gathered around a campfire. You can choose to free them. If you remain undetected, you can free the slaves without gaining Infamy. Alternatively, use the Ratslayer to snipe Legion guards from a distance while remaining undetected. If you fail to remain undetected, you may gain Infamy. If you are lucky, an NCR patrol might intervene. Freeing both Powder Gangers completes the quest Booted, granting 100 XP and significant Powder Ganger Fame.
  3. 3
Walking Box Cavern: West of the Legion Raid Camp, you’ll find Walking Box Cavern. A large group of Nightstalkers lurks outside. You can fight them with the Ratslayer or Cowboy Repeater. Enter the cave, go down a ramp, and head northwest to a side-chamber. Use the Ratslayer to kill the Nightstalkers inside. Continue southwest down the main tunnel to find a Duffle Bag filled with loot. Proceed southwest through winding tunnels until you find another side-chamber to the west, also containing Nightstalkers. Kill them and search the room for another Duffle Bag near an egg clutch, containing Combat Armor, Reinforced, and other loot.
