Why Cant We Be Friends

Fast-travel to Chance's Map and follow the road south, passing Nopah Cave and Spring Mt. Ranch State Park, until you reach the ruins of Bonnie Springs. Be prepared to fight tough Viper Gunslingers; one leader wields the unique Spiked Knuckles, Love and Hate, and the other has Metal Armor, Reinforced.

Leave Bonnie Springs and continue south, then east, following the road. Be cautious of a pass to the south, as a Young Deathclaw may be present near the road.

Follow the road east of the mountain pass. You will see a fenced area to the north, which is Vault 19. Enter the security station and descend via a manhole to enter the vault.

Open the vault door and proceed west through another door into the main vault area. Here you will find Samuel Cooke and Philip Lem, the leaders of the Powder Gangers, in their respective Overseer's offices to the north and south.

Before speaking to either leader, explore the vault. Head south, then west through a doorway into a cafeteria. In the south-western corner, behind the counter, you will find a First Aid Box.

Continue north through a door, then west through a tunnel to reach a north-south tunnel. At the western end, you will find three doors. The western doors lead to bathrooms with First Aid Boxes. The eastern door leads to a clinic.

In the clinic, the first room contains a First Aid Box. The second, larger room contains two more First Aid Boxes, Stimpaks on a metal shelf, and another Stimpak on a metal cart near a bed, along with a Doctor’s Bag.

Search the clinic rooms for Patient Notes, including "Patient 3905698" under a shelf, "Patient 5498465" under a cart, "Patient 1648654" under a chair, "Patient 6585645" under a desk, and "Patient 1687865" under a Paperweight on the desk, near a copy of Today’s Physician. Another Doctor’s Bag is on the floor behind the desk.

Return to the Overseer’s offices and speak with Samuel Cooke and Philip Lem. Cooke wants you to exterminate Fire Geckos in the lower levels, and Lem wants you to sabotage Cooke’s sulfur securing efforts. Both will give you a keycard: Cooke provides a Red Sector Key Card, and Lem provides a Blue Sector Key Card.

Head to the northern end of the level and choose either the Red Sector or Blue Sector door to access the lower vault. Both paths eventually link up. You will find mundane loot and Terminals along the way.

Whether you took the blue or red path, you will eventually reach the Vault 19 - Living Quarters. If you took the blue path, you'll be on the west end, where Fire Geckos and Frag Mines are present. If you took the red path, you'll be on the east end with more Fire Geckos and Frag Mines.

Proceed east (blue path) or west (red path) to find a keycard-locked door. Both doors lead to the same room.

Kill the Fire Geckos in this room. Search behind a counter in the south-eastern corner for a First Aid Box.

Find the smoking tunnel in the north-western corner of the room, which leads to The Sulfur Caves.

Navigate The Sulfur Caves, which are filled with Fire Geckos and sulfur. You must kill the Fire Geckos.
