McBride House: Located to the south. Talk to Alice about Jeannie May and No-bark. Talk to Dusty about cow problems and get the note “Midnight Ranch Attacks”. Ask Dusty about the checker-suited man to be referred to Jeannie May. Loot the First Aid Box [Easy] in the bathroom and the Gun Case [Average] in the living room for a Hunting Rifle and .308 Rounds.

Jeannie May Crawford's House/Novac Houses: North of McBride House, find a Novac House with a First Aid Box [Very Easy] in the bathroom and a 10mm Pistol with 10mm Rounds in a bedside table, plus a Footlocker [Average] in the bedroom. East of this is Jeannie May Crawford’s House, containing a locked Refrigerator [Average]. North-east of Jeannie May’s house is another Novac House with a Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap on the kitchen table, a Refrigerator, a Cabinet, and a Footlocker [Easy] under a bed in the bedroom.

No-Bark: North-east of the second Novac House is No-bark’s shack. Talk to him about the McBride's cattle problem (he’ll mention a chupacabra with a minigun), the REPCONN Test Site (starting the quest Come Fly With Me), and the checker-coated man (he’ll refer you to the sniper by the dinosaur). You can play Caravan with him for about 800 Caps. In his shack, disarm a rigged shotgun to access a vending machine and a Metal Helmet.

Dr. Ada Straus and the Gas Station: Follow the road south-south-west from No-bark’s house to an intersection, then continue to find Dr. Ada Straus, who offers healing and sells chems. To the east-south-east is a gas station that can be looted. A Workbench and Reloading Bench are available in the garage.

Dino Dee-Lite: North from the gas station is the Dino Dee-Lite inn. Inside the front desk office is Jeannie May Crawford. She will discuss the dinosaur mascot, sinister characters near REPCONN, and the town of Nelson. The Safe [Easy] behind the counter can be looted later.

Dino Bite Gift Shop: East-south-east of the Dino Dee-Lite is Dinky the dinosaur, housing the Dino Bite Gift Shop run by Cliff Briscoe. He sells souvenirs and the unique weapon “That Gun”. You can also steal “That Gun”. Behind the counter are two Ammo Boxes and Bobby Pins under the counter. A locked door [Very Easy] leads to a storage room with Rocket Souvenirs. Metal Boxes are also present. “That Gun” is on a metal shelf near the door. Stairs to the south-east lead to the dinosaur’s mouth, where snipers Manny Vargas (day) and Boone (night) keep watch.
