Sub-Scenario: Sky Knights Ensemble

Master the Sky Knights Ensemble sub-scenario in Bravely Default! Learn boss weaknesses, phase strategies, and party setups to overcome Barras, Holly, Ominas, and Heinkel.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Barras: Level 70, 75,000 HP, Weak to Nothing
• Holly: Level 70, 70,000 HP, Weak to Nothing
• Ominas: Level 70, 70,000 HP, Weak to Nothing
• Heinkel: Level 70, 80,000 HP, Weak to Lightning

Phases:

1. Initial Assault: All four bosses are present. Focus on Heinkel and Ominas first.
2. Mid-Battle: As bosses fall, the remaining ones will continue their attacks.
3. Barras's Invigorate: When Barras's HP drops below a quarter, he will use Invigorate, dealing massive damage. This is a critical phase requiring immediate focus or defensive measures.

Strategy:

• This battle is similar to the Chapter 7 encounter, but Holly joins the fray. Don't underestimate her, but she's not the main threat. Barras and Heinkel are your primary physical damage dealers, while Ominas brings powerful magic and debilitating status effects.
• Templar's Rampart is excellent for reducing damage from Barras and Heinkel. Consider using the Spiritmaster's Adaptation ability to nullify Ominas's magic.
• For a more robust physical defense, field a Level 12 Knight with Dual Shields and all available defense boosts. A Ninja can then use Kairai to redirect all physical attacks onto your Knight. Ensure your Knight also has Adaptation to survive Ominas's Thunder spells.
• Heinkel should be your top priority. He has a Protect Ally ability that lets him take a hit for another party member. Taking him out quickly prevents this and reduces incoming damage.
• Alternatively, powerful group-hitting moves like the Vampire's Firestorm or the Dark Knight's Dark Nebula (if your party has dark immunity) can work. However, be very careful with these; if you don't defeat all enemies, leaving Barras with low HP could be dangerous.
• Once Heinkel is down, focus on Ominas. He uses Firaga, so Abate Fire on your party is highly recommended. When he gets angry, he'll Brave for a powerful combo of Fira and Thunder. If you have the Ribbon accessory (from Dark Aurora), equip it on your healer to protect against his Sleep or Silence status effects.
• Next, take down Holly to prevent her from healing Barras. Use Utsusemi or Rampart to mitigate Barras's physical attacks while you deal with Holly.
• Before focusing on Barras, use the Examine ability to keep track of his HP. When his HP drops below 25%, he'll use Invigorate, which hits the entire party for massive damage. At this point, you must either focus all your attacks on him or consistently maintain Rampart to survive.
