Alright, let’s talk about Lucifer at Level 99. This guy’s a real step up from his weaker version, mainly because he’s gained a ton of Speed and a new ability called Slow and Steady. While you *could* try to outspeed him with fully kitted-out characters, there’s a much easier way to take him down, almost without breaking a sweat. We’re going to use a strategy similar to the Mammon(+) fight, but with a slight tweak to ensure everyone stays on their feet.

Strategy:

1. Character Setup:
   • Performer 1: Needs the Spiritmaster’s job command, Steady MP Recover (from Conjurer), Speed 10% Up (from Thief), and Hasten World (from Time Mage). Aim for at least 145 Agility, or 132 Agility if you use Speed 20% Up instead.
   • Performer 2: Needs the White Mage’s (or Red Mage’s) job command, Steady MP Recover, Speed 10% Up, and Speed 30% Up.
   • Attackers (x2): Should be Time Mages with the Swordmaster’s job command, Zero (from Arcanist), Speed 10% Up, and Speed 30% Up.
2. Equipment: Equip your two attackers with Agility-boosting gear. Think Fox Tails/Falcon Knives in both hands, Hermes Shoes, and maybe a Red Cap and Kenpo Gi. The goal is for them to consistently act before Performer 1.
3. Pre-Battle Prep (Zero Ability): Before heading into the fight, find a weak enemy group. Use your MP until the last digit is a zero. This is crucial for boosting your magic damage significantly.
4. Battle Execution:
   • Performer 1: Use Stillness and a non-physical move that wastes 1 BP. If your magic damage isn't quite there, Key to Your Heart is a good alternative.
   • Performer 2: Use Love Rush and Dispel. Love Rush is essential for keeping your Speed buffs up, and Dispel will counter Lucifer’s Magic Defense buff.
   • Attackers: Both should use Free Lunch followed by three Meteor attacks.
5. Auto-Battle: Once you’ve got the sequence down, enable Auto-Battle. This will repeat the strategy automatically, letting you focus on other things while Lucifer gets chipped away.

Why this works: Lucifer normally uses Arrogance to strip your Speed buffs, which is a fight-ender. Performer 2's Love Rush constantly reapplies these buffs. Dispel is there to negate his Magic Defense boost, ensuring your Meteor attacks hit hard. The Zero ability, pre-charged, gives your magic damage that extra kick it needs.
