Walkthrough

    On Floor 1, head right to find a lever. Pulling it opens the gate ahead. Ascend the stairs beyond.

    On the upper floor (Floor 2), go to the bottom-left corner to find another lever that opens a gate near the stairs you came from. Before this gate, turn left to find a chest containing Silver Glasses (nullify blind). Pass through the gate and ascend the next set of stairs.

    On the third floor, immediately to your right is a chest containing one Phoenix Down. Head down from the stairs, then turn right at the junction. Here you can find a lever to open the gate to the left and a chest containing Echo Herbs.

    Through the gate to the left, you'll find a chest containing one Wakeup Bell and a lever in the bottom-left corner that opens the gate ahead. Pass through this second gate to find stairs leading down.

    Downstairs (Floor 2), you can find chests containing Mage Masher and a Potion. There is also a lever opening the gate in the top-left corner. Past this gate, you'll find more stairs leading down.

    On the first floor, speak to the red-hatted Adventurer to save your game or purchase items. He offers Antidotes, Echo Herbs, and Wakeup Bells.

    Continue downstairs on the first floor to encounter the Eternian host. The female soldier, Edea, will join your party, and a boss battle will commence.

Boss: Ominas Crowe

Ominas Crowe is Level 9 with 1800 HP and is weak to nothing.

Tips
  • Default to protect yourself against Ominas’s magic attacks.
  • Use Poisona or Antidotes to clear away poison as soon as possible.
  • Keep your HP high to prevent Ominas from killing you with a mix of Poison and Fire. A White Mage with Cure is ideal for healing.
  • Group-cast Cure on your party to combat Ominas’s group-casting Fire.
  • Your main damage dealers should be your Monk with the Iron Knuckles equipped, plus Edea with her Ise-no-Kami weapon.
  • When Ominas reaches low HP, he will Brave and cast Fire twice. Ensure your HP is high before this.
  • After he Braves, he will be immobile for one turn, giving you a chance to lay down big damage by Braving yourself.

After defeating Ominas Crowe, Edea joins your party. An Eternian airship flies from the north towards Caldisla. The gate to the right will now be open, allowing you to reach the keep entrance quickly.
