Brave and Default Explained:

The Brave command allows you to attack multiple times in a single turn by using up future turns. For example, using Brave once lets you attack twice in the current turn but skips your next turn. This is a high-risk, high-reward strategy that can end battles quickly but leaves you vulnerable if you miscalculate.

The Default command lets you forgo your current turn to reduce incoming damage and gain 1 BP (Brave Point). By accumulating BP through Defaulting, you can then unleash a powerful barrage of attacks using the Brave command without leaving yourself vulnerable.

For faster battles, you can press L to Default and R to Brave, though these can be remapped in the Config menu.

Consequences of Brave and Default:

Using Brave strategically can allow you to defeat enemies before they get many turns to attack. However, if you overestimate your damage and the enemy survives, you will be vulnerable for several turns.

Conversely, if facing a tough enemy, Defaulting for several turns to build up BP (up to 3) allows you to unleash a strong Brave assault later, while mitigating damage during the turns you are defending.

Ravine Trail and Climb Walkthrough:

1. Follow the narrow ravine trail to the left. The minimap will fill in as you progress.
2. At the first fork, take the bottom path to find a chest containing a Potion.
3. Continue along the upper path to the next area.
4. In the second screen, at the ravine climb, head left, fighting goblins.
5. At the next fork, go backwards along the bottom path to find a chest with 200 pg.
6. Continue left along the narrow climb to reach the next screen.

Ravine Vista and Game Progression:

1. In the third and final screen, make your way left to find the Adventurer.
2. Speak to the Adventurer to save your game.
3. You will receive the Strange Hourglass, which enables the use of Bravely Second in battle.
4. The game will then teach you about Bravely Second and Sleep Points (SP). While SP can be purchased with real money, it is not required to progress through the game.
