The Four Crystals Re-revisted

Continue your journey in Bravely Default by awakening the fourth crystal. This guide helps you navigate the Vestment Cave, confront Sage Yulyana, and prepare for the Holy Pillar.

Alright, you've awakened the third crystal, which means it's time for some serious revelations! Tiz and Ringabel have a heart-to-heart on the Grandship's deck about Ringabel's condition. It's pretty heavy stuff, and leads to Tiz volunteering to visit Sage Yulyana. Agnes and Edea are a bit confused, but honestly, you don't have many other options right now, so off to Yulyana Woods you go!

When you arrive at Sage Yulyana's residence, things get a bit familiar. Just like last time, the sage asks Agnes to take her most trusted companion—that's you, Tiz!—into the Vestment Cave. Once you're past the entrance, the party splits up, and it'll just be Tiz and Agnes heading into the cave's depths.

Now, I highly recommend disabling random encounters for this part. It makes things a lot smoother since you're not exactly going in for a fight. But hey, if you're feeling brave and want to take on the cave monsters, go for it!

At the very end of the cave, where you found that rainbow thread earlier, Yulyana will be waiting. This time, though, it's Tiz and Agnes who surprise him by showing they already know what he's going to say. Pretty neat, huh?

Before you jet off to the next world, make sure you swing back to the sage's residence! You'll have a long, meaningful chat, and then you can exit the cave. The rest of the party will regroup, and you'll be ready to head to the final crystal temple.

Before you make your way to this world's Holy Pillar, you can actually return to the sage's residence one more time for a new sub-scenario. It's worth checking out if you have the time.

Once you've dealt with the fourth dark beast and awakened the fourth crystal, the Holy Pillar will appear in this world too. When you're absolutely sure you've grabbed everything you need and explored thoroughly, pilot the Grandship straight towards that ominous pillar and enter. Inside, Airy will gather the first light into her brooch while the party watches intently. It's a pretty pivotal moment!
