Walkthrough
- 1After a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) where you rescue two girls from monsters, head north-west on the world map to find the entrance to Florem Gardens.
- 2Upon entering Florem Gardens from the south, follow the path anti-clockwise. You will find chests containing 500 pg, a Hi-Potion, and an X-Potion.
- 3Take the right exit in the top-left corner to reach a new area. Continue right to find a chest with a Tomahawk.
- 4Return to the previous area and take the left exit. Follow the path ahead to find chests with an Ether and 1000 pg. The exit to the next area is in the top-left corner. There is also a locked chest to the right of this exit.
- 5Enter the interior section of the gardens. Navigate around purple flowers to reach chests containing a Remedy (bottom-left), a Turbo Ether (center), and a Tengu Yawn (bottom-right).
- 6At the very north of the interior section, you will find the exit leading to Florie’s Dwelling.
- 7Prepare for the boss battle against Mephilia Venus (Level 25, 9999 HP). She is not weak to any element.
- 8During the battle, Mephilia will summon Girtablulu every three turns, dealing massive earth damage. Use Default to prepare for these attacks.
- 9Mephilia will also summon a Legion Impaler and an Archer. Prioritize defeating these adds, using thunder magic or sword magic against the Impaler. The Archer can inflict confuse with Chaos Arrow.
- 10Default to build up BP and attack when it is safe. Use Cura frequently, especially group-casts, to keep your party healed.
Tips
- Consider equipping an Earthing Rod to resist Paralyzing Pollen from Alraunes encountered earlier.
- Fire attacks, especially Fira, are effective against the six Alraunes you face at the start.
- It may be helpful to disable encounters while traversing flowerbeds in the interior section to avoid battles when at a disadvantage.
- Ensure you have a Level 6 White Mage with Cura for effective healing.
- Being around Level 23 or higher is recommended for this boss fight.
