How to Use Specials:

First off, you can't just use a Special Move whenever you want. You gotta earn it! Each Special Move has a condition you need to meet in battle. For example, the Level 1 Sword Special Move requires you to use the Brave command a whopping 10 times. Once you've met the condition, you'll see a new 'Special' command pop up in your action list. Just select that, pick the Special Move you want, and when your character's turn comes up, they'll use it. It costs one action and 1 BP, just like a regular attack.

These moves are awesome – most hit like a truck, some can heal your whole party, and others can debuff the enemies. The cool thing is, since they're standard actions, you can use them multiple times in a single turn or even combine them with Brave! Just remember, after you use a Special Move, you can't use that same one (or any from the same weapon family) again until you meet its condition all over. So, it's a really smart idea to save up a few Special Moves before a tough boss fight so you're ready for anything.

Morale-boosting Music:

Now, here's a neat trick: when you use a Special Move, the battle music changes! For as long as that special music plays, your whole party gets a temporary stat boost. The boost depends on which Special Move you used. To get the most out of these buffs, you'll want to issue your commands quickly during this time. Some of these buffs are seriously game-changing!

Want to keep those buffs going? You can actually chain Special Moves together! If you notice the music is about to end, quickly queue up another Special Move to keep the music – and the buffs – going. And if you run out of your own Special Moves, don't forget you can call in friend summons! Their specials can also trigger that awesome morale-boosting music, so you can keep the party going even longer.
