Obtain the Susano-o Summon (Optional)

Learn how to find and challenge the powerful Susano-o summon in Bravely Default. Prepare your party with high Magic Defense and Angelic Ward to face this optional boss.

So, you've been wondering about that weird crescent moon island on the world map, huh? Well, it's time to solve that mystery and maybe snag a super powerful summon!

After you finish up the Pirate sub-scenario and if you've got the Summoner asterisk, you can go after the non-elemental summon called Susano-o. It's located on that crescent moon-shaped island way up in the north-east part of the world map. Just sail there and head towards the top-left corner of the island.

Fair warning, Susano-o can absolutely wreck you if your party isn't ready. Don't sweat it if you get wiped out though, because you can try the Anchorite's trial again whenever you want. Before you go challenging it, make sure to equip your characters with gear and abilities that boost their Magic Defense. Having Angelic Ward from the White Mage job is also a really good idea to help you survive the onslaught.
