Defeat the Ice Golem in bravely default Chapter 4. Find an Elixir and Arctic Wind in Eternia City.
Boss: Ice Golem
The Ice Golem is a massive boss with 60,000 HP at level 43 and is weak to Fire. It uses Freezing Punch to deal heavy damage and inflict Stop on a single target, and Blizzard Blast to damage the entire party. To make this fight easier, equip as many Ice Charms as possible, or use the White Mage’s Abate Water ability to reduce the damage from its water-based attacks. Equipping the Iceflame Shield on your healer can negate these attacks entirely. Immunity to Stop from a Time Mage is also highly recommended. Focus your attacks on the golem using fire-based moves or weapons while managing your HP.
Eternia City
After defeating the Ice Golem, you can enter Eternia City. Upon arrival, Edea’s classmate will inform her that her mother has been hospitalized. Head north to the Central Healing Tower and go inside. At the top of the stairs, a nurse will lead you to Edea’s mother’s room. After a conversation, inspect the corner immediately to the left of the Central Healing Tower to find an Elixir. Search the snowy area to the far right of the city to find a piece of Arctic Wind. Visit the armory, trader, and magic shops for new items, but be aware that many goods are expensive. To leave the city, head to the far left.
