Groschen Must Flow Achievement Guide

Preparations: Before you can spend 10,000 groschen, you need to accumulate some. Early game, alchemy (brewing and selling potions) is a good way to earn initial funds. Aim for a few hundred groschen, a bed, access to a stew pot, and decent starter armor. Alternatively, fight bandits and loot them, luring them to guards if necessary.

Combat Training: Once you have some basic armor and can fight, head to the Nomad Camp south of Rocktower Pond. Complete Combat Training I and II to learn the Masterstrike skill from Tomcat, significantly improving your sword combat.

Craftsmanship Skill: Secure a room at the Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn (approx. 120 groschen) for easier management. Focus on leveling your Craftsmanship skill to Lv10 to unlock the 'Keen Eye' perk. This perk is highly recommended for this achievement, as it boosts Craftsmanship EXP gained from repairs and can lead to profit. You can gain starter levels by repairing gear with kits bought from merchants.

The Grind: With a bed, stew pot, armor, and some starting cash, begin the main grind. Travel the roads around Trosky, Tachov, and Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn, or patrol Rocktower Pond, hunting bandits. Loot their arms and armor, prioritizing items worth over 100 groschen. Equip any superior gear you find. Consider purchasing a basilard or other bladed weapon for easier combat.

Repair and Sell Loop: Take the looted arms and armor to a blacksmith (e.g., in Tachov or Castle Trosky). Pay to repair the gear. This will rapidly deplete your groschen. The repair process also increases the gear's resale value. Sell the repaired gear back to the blacksmith. Blacksmiths typically have 300-400 groschen. Recoup your repair costs and make a profit. Wait a day or two for the merchant to replenish their funds, then repeat the process.

Achievement Unlocked: Continue this repair-and-sell cycle until you have spent a cumulative total of 10,000 groschen, at which point the 'Groschen Must Flow' achievement will unlock.
