The Magic Arrow Quest Walkthrough

Start the Quest: Go to Devil's Den during the day and speak with Pasha. He will tell you about Karel the bandit and the magic arrow in his head.

Find Karel's Grave: Ask the gravedigger about Karel. When prompted, tell him you're going for the heart. Head to the monastery north of Kuttenberg and find the gravedigger. Tell him Karel is your friend and you want to "stab him in the heart" to ensure he's truly dead. He will reveal Karel is buried under a willow tree nearby, and the location will be marked on your map.

Get the Magic Arrow: Go to the willow tree. A spade will be propped against it if you don't have one. Dig up the grave and carefully remove the arrow from Karel's head to keep it intact.

Return to Devil's Den: Go back to Devil's Den. Hare will be waiting for you and will ask you to follow him to Pasha's camp. Do not show him the arrow.

Confront Hare: Hare will stop to talk and urge you not to give Pasha the arrow, suggesting you give it to him instead. You can agree or refuse.

Agreeing to give Hare the arrow: The quest ends with no reward.

Refusing to give Hare the arrow: You must pass a skill check (Speech or by being heavily armored). If you fail, you will have to fight Hare. It is recommended to refuse and continue to Pasha.

Find Pasha's Camp: If you refused Hare, you'll need to find Pasha's camp yourself in the woods on the left side of the road, at the far end of the objective area.

Confront Pasha: Speak to Pasha. You have several options:

• Tell Pasha you gave Hare the arrow: Pasha and his bandits will attack you.

Lie and say Karel had no head and the arrow was gone: Pasha will thank you and give no reward.

Agree to shoot Pasha in the head with the magic arrow: If you succeed, Pasha dies, his crew flees, and you can loot Pasha and his camp. This is the best outcome.

Miss when shooting Pasha: The quest ends, the arrow is lost, and the gang attacks you.

Refuse to shoot Pasha: The quest ends, and Pasha attacks you.
