Melee at the Mill Walkthrough

Start the Quest: Go to the Lower Semine Mill (southwest of Semine). Speak with Hired Hand Hensel about the fights, then confirm with Miller Kreyzl. The buy-in for each match is 10 groschen. Note that you'll be stripped of armor for these bouts.

Defeat Hensel: Find Hired Hand Hans (likely a typo for Hensel in the source). Wager 10 groschen. Hensel is a very easy opponent; block his attacks and counter until he forfeits.

Defeat Malik: After resting if needed, challenge Malik. He is a tougher opponent. Key strategies for these fights include: perfect blocking and countering, pressing your advantage when you land a hit, and managing your stamina. If your stamina drops low, create distance to recover. After defeating Malik, he offers training in Unarmed, Thievery, Stealth, and Drinking for 100 groschen each.

Defeat Vira: Rest up and then challenge Vira. Despite his intimidation tactics, he is generally not difficult. Use the same strategies as against Malik: land a hit and keep attacking, or focus on perfect blocks and counters.

Complete the Quest: Return to Miller Kreyzl and inform him of your victories. He will invite you to represent him in fights at the Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn. You will receive 125 groschen, with 100 groschen deducted for the entry fee to the next set of fights, leaving you with a net gain of 25 groschen plus winnings from the matches and Unarmed experience. The next quest in the series is "Wine, Women and Blood."
