Like Old Times Quest Walkthrough

Start the Task: Progress the main story until you complete the 'Storm' quest to reach Kuttenberg. Continue main quests until 'Exodus', then return to Devil's Den to speak with Zizka. Complete 'The Devil's Pack' if you haven't already. Hans Capon will then wish to speak with Henry, initiating the 'Like Old Times' Task. This is your only chance to do this quest; proceed with 'The Lion's Den' afterward or miss it forever, potentially locking you out of the Been There, Done That Achievement/Trophy.

Dialogue Choices: When speaking to Hans to start the quest, select the following responses:

• “Thank you, it was rough.”

“It reminded me of Skalitz.”

“No need to thank me.”

“History?” (Medium Speech) or “Duty calls.”

“A just reward!”

“That’s a good idea.”

“Let’s go!”

Travel to the Camp: Follow Hans out of the tavern and call your horse. Ride with Hans, and you can choose to follow him automatically. You can reply to his questions during the ride. Eventually, you'll have the option to speed up and fast travel to the camp.

Confront Sigismund's Soldiers: Upon arrival, dismount and follow Hans into the woods. You will encounter Sigismund's soldiers. You have three main options:

• Talk them down (Easiest): Use dialogue options to scare them off. The required choices are:
  • “Your worst nightmare” (Medium, requires Level 22 Speech)

“Fuck Sigismund.” (Hard, requires Level 22 Speech)

“Get lost!”

Fight them: You can charge them directly (hardest), or use Stealth to pick them off one by one. If you are seen during Stealth, the objective changes to the charge option. If you choose to fight, use Mutt to distract, employ Battle Cries, and avoid being surrounded.

Leave: If you choose to do nothing and leave, you will fail the Task.

Return to Devil's Den: After successfully dealing with the soldiers (either by talking or fighting), speak to Hans again. He will decide to head back to Devil's Den. Agree to go with him to complete the Task.
