How to find the Caught Thief’s Map:

First things first, you'll need to progress the main story a bit until you can freely roam Trosky Castle. Specifically, get through the 'Wedding Crashers' and 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' main quests. Once you've got that freedom, head to the western side of the castle grounds. Look for the combat arena – you'll usually find a guy named Black Bartosch hanging around there. Your goal is to challenge him to a game of dice. If you win, he'll offer you a thief's map he's got. Accept the challenge and then beat him in the dice game to get your hands on the Caught Thief’s Map.

Find the Treasure at the Thief’s Camp:

Now, take a look at that map you just acquired. It's got a big red 'X' marking a spot east of a village called Suchdol. Honestly, the map's drawing skills aren't the best, but there's a doodle of a fortress in the bottom left corner that's super helpful. Since Trosky only has two main fortifications, and considering the surrounding geography, that fortress has to be Nebakov Fortress. This means the nearby village marked on the map is likely the “Nebakov Mill.”

Your target is a point of interest called the “Thief’s Camp.” The easiest way to get there is to fast travel to Nebakov Mill. From there, hop on the road heading east into the woods. You might see a path going northwest, but you want to stick to the plan: circle around some cliffs and head uphill to the east of Nebakov Mill. Keep going, and you'll eventually find the “Thief’s Camp” point of interest in the forest.

Once you're at the camp, you'll find a lone bandit. He might be tough, but if you're stealthy, you can sneak up on him. Take him out, then look for a cookpot. Search the area southeast of the cookpot, and you'll find a locked chest (it's a hard lock, so be prepared!). Pick the lock, and inside you'll find your treasure: an Engraved Gemstone Ring, a Weak Marigold Potion, 4x Frankfurt Steel, 328 groschen, and 2x Bandages.
