Walkthrough
  1. 1
Starting The Voivode's Curse: First things first, you need to have completed Radovan's quests in Tachov, including 'The Hermit.' After that, make sure you've done the 'Wedding Crashers' quest, or ask Radovan for more work, and he'll point you toward the Nomads' Camp. It's also highly recommended to complete 'Miri Fajta' beforehand, as it involves all the key characters for this quest, especially Aranka. Once you're set, head to the Nomads' Camp and talk to Aranka to get started.
  2. 2
Forging Rikonaris’ Sabre: Aranka needs you to forge a special sabre. You'll need to take the recipe, head back to Tachov, and get to smithing. If you're short on materials like Scrap Metal or Fastening Materials, check the chest nearby. You can buy any missing Steel from Radovan. Once you have everything, head to the forge. The process is similar to forging any other sword: aim for a straw-yellow color on the blade and strike evenly with good strength to create large sparks. After forging, Henry will automatically douse the blade in Charcoal Water provided by Aranka.
  3. 3
Kill a Dog with the Sabre: The final step is to coat the newly forged sabre with blood. Wolves count for this, so you don't need to hunt down a farm animal. You can find wolves in the forests and fields around Trosky. If you're having trouble finding any, head to the forests north of Rocktower Pond, where there's a marked 'Wolf Pack' location. Once you encounter wolves, kill one with the sabre. This will coat it in blood and complete the objective. Finally, return the sabre to Aranka at the Nomads' Camp to finish the task.
  • 45 Groschens
  • Vagrant’s Hat
  • Aranka teaches you skills for free (e.g., Alchemy)
Tips
  • Make sure you've completed 'Miri Fajta' before starting this quest, as it introduces you to all the relevant characters.
  • Don't worry about finding a specific dog; wolves are perfectly acceptable for coating the sabre in blood.
  • The 'Wolf Pack' location north of Rocktower Pond is a reliable spot if you're struggling to find wolves elsewhere.
