Vocation Frustration

In Vernworth, head to the marketplace in the Merchant Quarter and go south to Shakir’s Inn. The Vocation Guild is accessible via a door underneath the Inn.

Speak to the receptionist, Klaus, inside the Vocation Guild and select 'change vocation'. You will see that the 'Acquire' prompt for Sorcerer and Warrior is red, indicating they are currently unavailable.

Exit the Vocation screen. Klaus will explain that a shortage of equipment, specifically archistaves and greatswords, prevents new registrations. He will mention that a shipment was plundered by goblins and advise you to speak with Roderick the armorer for more information.

Find Roderick behind the counter of his armory, which has a red and black signboard and is located north of the Merchant Quarter.

Roderick will confirm that goblins raided the shipment and that their lair is located along the western road out of Vernworth. If you have a Pawn with quest knowledge, they will lead you there; otherwise, follow the western road.

The goblin lair is called Trevo Mine. Leave Vernworth via the northwestern exit, follow the road to a crossroads, and then take the western road. Continue west until you reach another crossroads where you can go west or northwest. Take the northwestern road and follow it to Trevo Mine.

Inside Trevo Mine, turn on your lantern. Follow the linear tunnel until you encounter the first goblins. Defeat them and proceed until you reach a slope.

Go up the slope. Before entering the next tunnel, mine the ore deposit to your left (it contains silver and gold ore).

Continue through the next tunnel into an open room with more goblins. Defeat them.

Head up the rocks to the north into another large area with more goblins. Defeat them.

Enter the adjacent room to the north, where more goblins will ambush you. Defeat them and open the chest to the left of the wooden door to obtain the Two-Hander Greatsword.

Return to the intersection and take the northwestern tunnel down.

In the next area, fight the goblins. You can attack or push large boulders to roll down and damage enemies, but be careful not to get hit yourself.

Climb the ledges to the west to find a singular goblin and an ore deposit.

After clearing the room, take the western tunnel north, defeat the goblins, and continue north. You will find an ore deposit on your right as the tunnel narrows.

Follow the tunnel north, which curves east. Exit into a large room with more goblins. Defeat them.

Head through the narrow gap opposite the tunnel you entered from, on the same level.

Follow this path to find a chest containing the Grievous Horns Archistaff. Search the area for any remaining ore deposits and chests.

Return to Klaus at the Vocation Guild in Vernworth to complete the quest and unlock the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations. You can use a Ferrystone to return to the Portcrystal in Vernworth, or head up to exit the Mine and follow the road east back to town.

After obtaining the archistaff, proceed through the nearby door and tunnel, passing goblins until you reach an open area with a small wooden bridge.

A chest is located above the bridge on a ledge to your right, containing a Ferrystone. You may need support skills like Levitate to reach it, or exit the Mine from the top and approach from above.

Cross the bridge and assist the guards fighting goblins to complete the "Monster Culling" quest.

Open the chest at the back for the Daggers: Signs of Valor.
