    Follow the main road from Melve to Vernworth. The southernmost entrance to the Cavern of the Forsaken is found on the western end of a road strip located on high ground, just northwest of the Riftstone of the Straightforward.

    Ascend a rocky slope just after crossing a bridge and rounding a corner to reach the high ground. Beware of Harpies.

    Enter the cave and follow the linear path north and east. Scramble over terrain and look for ore veins.

    When the passage turns south, climb ledges to find a chest containing Dried Meat.

    Continue south and climb ledges to find two Saurians. Be mindful of explosive barrels.

    Proceed north to an outdoor area with a mountain stream. Defeat any Saurians.

    To the east, find a common chest with a Panacea and an ornate chest with a Hunter's Bow.

    Southwest of the Ogre ravine, find a chest containing a Scale Band.

    Continue southwest from the Ogre ravine. The passage will split north-south.

    Before the split, climb cliffs to the south and loot an ornate chest for a Scale Band.

    At the north-south split, take the southern path and explore an alcove. The floor will collapse, leading to a tunnel with an ornate chest containing a Ring of Exultation.

    Climb back up and take the northern passage. You will encounter a series of stacked explosive barrels and bandits.

    Use spells or a ranged weapon to destroy the barrels from a distance, or lure an explosive barrel from the Ogre cavern to clear the obstacle and potentially defeat some bandits.

    Pass the explosive barrels and clear out the remaining bandits.

    Continue to the cave exit. Another ladder can be kicked down here to open a third route into the cave.
Tips
  • The southern half of the cave is initially occupied by Saurians.
  • The Ogre in the ravine can be fought more easily by using the explosive barrels found nearby.
  • If you cannot defeat the Ogre, you can still exit the cave and kick down the ladder to create a shortcut.
  • A campsite is located just outside the cave exit near the ladder shortcut.
  • Be cautious of explosive barrels scattered throughout the cave.
  • The Riftstone of the Straightforward near the entrance exclusively attracts pawns with the Straightforward inclination.
