Alright, so you're looking to get your hands on the Magick Archer Vocation in Dragon's Dogma 2? It's a bit of a trek, but totally worth it. You'll need to be pretty far into the game, so don't expect to grab this one right at the start. Think late-game gear, boosted stats, and a solid grasp of your current Vocation before you even think about heading south.

The key to unlocking the Magick Archer is completing a quest called "Put A Spring In Thy Step". This quest kicks off on the Volcanic Island, way down south on the world map. To get there, you'll have to push through Drabnir's Grotto. Once you pop out the other side, you'll run into an NPC named Gautstafr.

Gautstafr is having some back pain and needs herbs. If you've already picked some up, great! Hand 'em over. If not, a quick scout around the nearby area should sort you out. After you give him the herbs, he'll invite you to his house for a reward, which is pretty much right in front of you on the left.

Inside his house, you'll meet his wife, Cliodhna. She'll convince Gautstafr to head to the nearby hot springs at the camp. This is where you come in – you'll need to escort him, and that's how the quest really gets rolling. Once you reach the hot springs, Cliodhna will teach you the Magick Archer's ways, and boom! You can unlock it at any Vocation Guild nearby, including the one right in the camp.

Just a heads-up, reaching the Volcanic Island is no joke. You'll need upgraded gear, higher stats, and probably a high-rank Vocation to handle the bosses and challenges along the way. So, while it's technically unlockable, it's definitely a late-game class.

You can actually return to Cliodhna at her house later on to learn more about the Magick Archer, and the nearby Worker's Dormitory is where you'll go to change Vocations.
