How To Resurrect Pawns

Alright, so your main Pawn has kicked the bucket, huh? Don't sweat it! In Dragon's Dogma 2, you can bring your most trusted companion back to life. All you need to do is find a Riftstone. Luckily, these things are scattered all over Vermund and Battahl, usually chilling in towns or near campsites. You shouldn't have any trouble stumbling upon one.

Now, about your other two Pawns – if they fall in battle, they're gone for good. That's harsh, I know. When that happens, you'll need to find new recruits out in the wild or by interacting with Riftstones. If a new Pawn you find is a higher level than you, you'll have to pay a small fee to hire them. But hey, if they're the same level or lower, they're free! You might even bump into Pawns you've traveled with before, either wandering the world or hanging out at a Riftstone. They'll remember you, and bringing them back into your party can really strengthen your bond.

Using a regular Riftstone is pretty straightforward: just touch it, and your main Pawn will be resurrected. Keep in mind, though, if you've already used a Riftstone to grab a super powerful Pawn, you won't be able to use that specific one again.

You'll often find your Pawns getting knocked off ledges or into rivers during tough fights. Falling into water means instant drowning, which is a bummer. But honestly, you won't need to manually revive your Pawn too often, especially since you can usually bring them back mid-battle if they get downed.
