    Speak with Captain Brant at The Stardrop Inn at night. He will give you the Eventide Mask and the objective to infiltrate the upcoming Masquerade.

    Acquire the Courtly Set, which includes the Courtly Tunic and Breeches. This can be purchased for over 150,000 G each, or obtained for free through several methods:
    • Inside the Comptroller’s Home in the Noble Quarter (in two large bags).

    Inside the Watchmead’s Home in the Noble Quarter (in two bags).

    In a chest inside the masquerade hall (useful for selling later).
  5. 5
    As a reward for completing the Ornate Box Quest.

    Equip the Eventide Mask, Courtly Tunic, and Courtly Breeches.

    Head to Vernworth Hall, located west of the Royal Quarter (south through the Noble Quarter).

    Speak to the guard outside Vernworth Hall. If the masquerade is not happening, wait until the next night and try again.

    Enter Vernworth Hall and proceed to the center for a scene.

    Go to the back of the hall, past the first door with guards, and enter the next room. Find Waldhar’s Spectacles on a cabinet.

    Continue north and enter the room in the northwest corner. Behind a folding screen, you'll find a chest containing the Courtly Set.

    Return to the corridor and hug the western wall to reveal a hidden door between the two rooms you just visited.

    Enter the hidden passage. Pick up the Allheal Elixir from the cabinet to your right.

    Proceed through the door to reach the ramparts. Follow the path north.

    Enter the Rose Chateau Borderlie through the open window on your right.

    Witness a scene with Lady Wilhelmina, who reveals a peephole to spy on the Sovran.

    Report back to Captain Brant with the information you gathered.

  • The Courtly Set can be expensive to buy outright. Prioritize finding the free sets.
  • Lady Wilhelmina provides a pass for the Rose Chateau, allowing you to revisit it later if needed.
