Keystone Features (Bounty Hunter)
Hunt Down the Prey
This feature allows you to mark an enemy as "prey" as long as you have charges remaining. Killing a marked target grants a stackable bonus until the end of combat, dependent on the enemy's difficulty tier:
- Tier I-II: +25% of maximum wounds as temporary wounds.
- Tier III-IV: +(2 x difficulty tier)% critical hit chance and +(5 x difficulty tier)% critical damage.
- Tier V-VII: Both bonuses above.
You start combat with 3 charges of Hunt Down the Prey.
Abilities (Bounty Hunter)
Claim the Bounty
- Cost: 1 AP
- Area of Effect: One enemy creature within weapon range
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Makes a free single attack that always hits and deals (4 x (BS bonus + PER bonus))% of usual damage. If it kills a marked prey, you gain +2 AP. Every third enemy killed by this ability restores +1 charge of Hunt Down the Prey.
Cull the Bold
- Cost: 1 AP
- Area of Effect: Personal
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Your next attack gains +(BS bonus) damage. The target's armour is reduced by -(3 x difficulty tier)% against all your attacks until end of combat. If the target's armour against this attack is below 20%, their dodge against your attacks is also reduced by -(3 x difficulty tier)%. Additional damage is increased to +(BS bonus + (greater of PER and INT bonus)).
Ensnare the Prey
- Cost: 1 AP
- Area of Effect: Empty cell in a 10-cell radius
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Sets a trap. Enemies approaching within 2 cells suffer (2 x (greater of PER and INT bonus)) direct damage and must pass an Agility resistance test with a -(2 x AGI bonus) penalty or become immobilised until their next turn. You gain +(AGI bonus) MP at the start of your next turn.
Hot on the Trail
- Cost: 0 AP
- Area of Effect: One enemy creature within 10-cell radius
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Marks an enemy as "trailed" and ends your turn. If an ally kills a trailed enemy, you gain an extra turn with remaining MP and AP, +(2 + difficulty tier / 2) MP, and this ability's cooldown resets. The third use in combat recovers +1 charge of Hunt Down the Prey.
Piercing Shot
- Cost: 1 AP
- Area of Effect: Personal
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Your next attack gains +100% overpenetration and +(2 x PER bonus)% armour penetration.
Raid
- Cost: 1 AP
- Area of Effect: Personal
- Cooldown: 1
- Effect: Until your next turn, allies attacking a marked prey deal +(your PER bonus)% additional damage and gain half your current critical hit chance and critical damage bonuses.
Wild Hunt (Heroic Act / Desperate Measures)
- Cost: N/A
- Area of Effect: Personal
- Cooldown: Once per combat
- Effect: Make attacks equal to the number of marked prey, divided among them. These attacks always hit and score critical hits. As a Desperate Measure, gain -20 penalties to Ballistic Skill, Perception, and Agility until end of combat. At 27th and 35th levels, choose one upgrade:
- 1. Prey suffer -(3 x PER bonus)% armour penalty before attack.
- 2. Gain +3 MP and restore +3 charges of Hunt Down the Prey.
