The Polyjuice Plot Walkthrough in Hogwarts Legacy

Alright, so you've just transformed into Black and need to make your way out of Professor Fig's classroom. As soon as you step out, you'll run into Sharp. He'll ask about your boils and his remedy, which is a good spot to just play around with the dialogue options for a bit. Have some fun with it before you move on.

Keep heading towards the Great Hall, and you'll bump into Madame Kagawa. She'll bring up the Quidditch cancellation again. While you can't exactly change the game's mind about Quidditch not existing, you can definitely have some fun teasing Kagawa and potentially getting Black into hot water with the Ministry of Sport. Your main goal here is to find out where your elf is, and you'll get that information no matter what you say.

Once you're in the Great Hall, Professor Weasley will want to chat. She's worried about Professor Fig and your little adventures outside the castle. The dialogue choices here are mostly about covering for yourself and Fig, so feel free to get creative and try to find ways to wrap up the conversation with her quickly.

Polyjuice Plot: Scrope’s Answers

Now it's time to talk to Scrope and get that all-important secret password. You need to learn the password to get into Black's office.

When you speak to Scrope, there are a couple of dialogue options that will get you the information you need. We recommend picking these:

1. You dare question me
2. It’s to do with the Purity of Blood

These choices will get you the password. The elf will also reveal that the password is in French and then pronounce it for you. After that, you'll need to head up the Great Staircase, into the Trophy Room, and make your way towards the gargoyle. Just follow the quest marker. You'll need to hide and wait for the Polyjuice Potion to wear off. Once it does, go to the gargoyle door, interact with it to enter Black's office, and then you can find the Fitzgerald portrait to move on to the Fitzgerald Trial.
