All Merlin Trials in North Hogwarts Region

North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trial Location #1: Destroy all spheres perched on columns around the area. Some are in the immediate vicinity, while others are atop a rocky cliff behind them. Basic attacks can destroy them, and you don't need to be very close.

North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trial Location #2: Use Lumos to guide butterflies to three stone blocks to light them up. The butterfly sets are located near a bench beneath a cliff, near a large tree, and near a small campsite.

North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trial Location #3: Use the spell Flipendo, unlocked via Professor Garlick’s Assignment 2, to match symbols on stone cubes with symbols on pillars. You need to hit the blocks from different sides until they align. There are three such puzzles: one near the Merlin Trial swirl, one on a small islet in the lake below, and one on the lake shore.

North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trial Location #4: Use Confringo, unlocked during The Shadows of the Undercroft quest, to light three braziers. Incendio cannot be used due to the distance. The braziers are located near the Merlin Trial swirl, up on rocks near a wooden bridge, and inside a ruined tower. Clear the vines covering the ruined tower entrance with a fire spell first. Light the cliffside brazier, then run to the center of the bridge and light the other two in quick succession.

North Hogwarts Region Merlin Trial Location #5: Use Reparo to fix four broken stone statues surrounding the Merlin Trial. Two statues are near the river, and two are behind tents next to the cliffs.
