Hecat's Assignment 2 Walkthrough

This is probably the easiest way to get this done. Head over to the Clocktower and find Lucan Brattlebury. He's running the Championship round of the Crossed Wands wizard duel. If you choose a partner, it'll be a 2v4 match, which means plenty of enemies to practice your spells and dodge rolls on. The best part? If you're close to winning but want to do it again (maybe you missed a challenge or just want more practice), you can deliberately lose! You'll be restored to full HP, making it super easy to retry and complete the assignment.

If dueling isn't your thing, or the Clocktower isn't available, the Forbidden Forest is your next best bet. If you've been to Hogsmeade, you should have the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame point unlocked – fast travel there if you have it. Once you're in the forest, you'll find several level 9 enemies right away. There's a Bogart, and if you head right, some spiders. If you go left, you'll run into some level 9 Poachers. These enemies are generally pretty manageable if you're around the right level, which you likely will be from doing other quests and collecting Field Guide Pages. Just remember to dodge roll and try to hit five enemies with your Ignatio spell to complete the challenges.

Once you've completed the combat challenge using either method, fast-travel back to Hecat in the Dark Arts Tower. You'll be rewarded with the Expelliarmus spell! You can try it out on the dummy right away and equip it to your spell bar from the red spell section in your spellbook.
