How to Recover the Helm of Urtkot

Lost the Helm of Urtkot? Follow this Hogwarts Legacy guide to find the Ashwinder camp, defeat the Forest Troll and Ashwinder Assassin, and recover the relic.

Alright, so you've navigated the Witch's Tomb and you're ready to grab that Helm of Urtkot, but surprise! The Ashwinders beat you to it. No worries, we'll get it back. First things first, exit the tomb through that secret door behind the witch's sarcophagus. Once you're back outside, have a chat with Lodgok. He'll point you towards an Ashwinder camp that you'll need to clear out, and this time, you're going in solo.

Hop on your broom and head northwest into the forest. Your target is a small bandit camp. Even if you've cleared it before, it'll be full of enemies again. To make things a bit easier, try landing a little south of the camp, maybe on the road leading up to it.

Here's where things get interesting: the camp is crawling with Ashwinders, but you'll have some unexpected help. A Forest Troll is apparently not a fan of these wizards and will start smashing them. You don't have to jump into the fray right away; you can actually just hang back and watch the show. If, by some chance, the Ashwinders win (unlikely!), or if the troll is still standing with a good chunk of health left, you'll need to step in. If you want to get a head start, you can sneak up on the troll with Disillusionment and hit it with a Petrificus Totalus. The best way to take down this big guy, besides using your Ancient Magic, is to keep your distance. Bait it into throwing a boulder, block it with Protego, and then quickly mash [Attack Button] to throw it back. This will stun the troll, giving you a window to blast it with offensive spells like Incendio. Keep this up until it's defeated.

Once the troll is down, it's time to search the camp. You'll find the Helm of Urtkot in a chest. After that, you'll need to deal with the Ashwinder Assassin and her crew. She likes to use powerful, unblockable spells and has a purple shield, but she's not super tough. A simple combo of Accio, Incendio, and Confringo should do the trick.

After you've dealt with the Assassin and her cronies, grab your broom and fly back southeast to Lodgok. Hand over the Helm of Urtkot, and hopefully, the goblin will hold up his end of the bargain!
