Forbidden Forest Merlin Trial Location #1

First up, we're heading to the northeastern part of the Forbidden Forest. If you've been to Jackdaw's Tomb, that's your landmark. Fast travel there using the Jackdaw's Tomb Floo Flame. Once you arrive, look for a circular platform. That's our starting point. Sprinkle some Mallowsweet on it to kick things off.

For this trial, you'll need to be quick! Three torches will appear, and you've got to hit them with Confringo before they go out. They're scattered around the platform: one to the northwest, one to the southeast, and one to the north. Just keep your aim steady and blast 'em!

Forbidden Forest Merlin Trial Location #2

Next, we're heading east from the West Forbidden Forest area. Use the West Forbidden Forest Floo Flame to get close. You'll find the platform near a Hippogriff Den, so keep an eye out for those majestic creatures. Once you spot the circular platform, use your Mallowsweet to begin.

This one's a bit different. You'll see some butterflies fluttering around. Cast Lumos to get them to follow you. Your goal is to lead these glowing guides to three different stone pillars that are scattered around the area. Just walk slowly and deliberately, making sure they stick with you as you navigate them to each pillar.

Forbidden Forest Merlin Trial Location #3

For our final Forbidden Forest trial, we're heading northwest of the North Ford Entrance. Fast travel there with the North Ford Entrance Floo Flame. You'll find the circular platform waiting for you. As usual, use Mallowsweet to start the challenge.

This trial requires a bit of platforming. You'll need to shoot the stones off the pillars first. Once they're free, you'll have to jump across them, moving from right to left, to reach the other side. Take your time with the jumps, and you'll nail it!
