This guide outlines the roadmap for achieving all trophies in Hogwarts Legacy, covering natural gameplay progression, side quests, collections, and combat-related achievements. The main story can be completed in approximately 25 hours, or 13 hours if skipping cutscenes and side content. No difficulty-related trophies exist.

Normal Gameplay Achievements

These trophies are naturally obtained by playing through the main story:

Side Quest Related Achievements

Completing specific side quests and all side quests yields trophies. Expect to spend 1-2 hours per companionship quest and 15-30 minutes per other side quest. In total, there are 58 side quests, accounting for approximately 13.5 hours of gameplay and 5 trophies.

Collection Related Achievements

This category includes achievements for learning spells, solving puzzles, and using potions. Many of these are required for the difficult Collector’s Edition trophy.

Demiguise Dread	Collect all Demiguise statues. Use the provided guide for locations.
Merlin’s Beard!	Find and complete all Merlin Trials. Refer to the Merlin Trials guide.
The Nature of the Beast	Breed all twelve types of beasts (excluding the Phoenix).
Challenge Accepted	Complete every tier of a challenge. This is often unlocked after completing Merlin Trials.
Going Through the Potions	Brew every potion. Use a timer as they brew in real-time. Purchase missing potions from J. Pippins.
Put Down Roots	Grow every plant. Buy seeds from The Magic Neep and Dogweed and Deathcap.
Rise to the Challenges	Complete the battle arenas in North Ford Bog and the Feldcroft Region.
The Intrepid Explorer	Find all cairn dungeons, which are part of specific quests like The Helm of Urtkot and Cursed Tomb Treasure.
Floo Around the World	Activate every Floo Flame on the map.
The Spell Master	Unlock every spell, including the three dark curses. A guide is available for spell locations.

The Collector’s Edition trophy requires:

• All 150 Field Guide Pages
• All 75 Traits
• All 42 Wand Handles
• All 140 Conjuration Spells
• All 78 Cosmetic Items
• Find All 67 Different Types of Enemies
• Find all Beast Dens
• Gather all Plant and Potion Materials
• Pop All Balloons

Some of these are completed through other achievements. Remaining items can be purchased in Hogsmeade.

Gameplay and Combat-Related Achievements

These achievements focus on combat mechanics and general gameplay actions.

Third Time’s a Charm	Upgrade three pieces of gear at the loom in the Room of Requirements. Use low-grade gear and ensure you have beast supplies.

Followed the Butterflies	Follow a set of butterflies to their destination. A guide is available for specific butterfly locations.
Flight the Good Flight	Beat all broom races with the fastest time.
Spilled Milk	Use Flippendo on a cow in a pasture above a treasure vault.
