Walkthrough
- 1Speak to Deek to receive the Nab-Sack and unlock the Vivarium.
- 2Equip the Nab-Sack like a spell.
- 3Catch a Puffskein: Go to the Puffskein den. Approach the beast, use the Nab-Sack, and fill the wheel. Press the prompted button ( / / ) and stay close to suck it in.
- 4Speak to Deek and head to the Jobberknoll den west of the Forbidden Forest.
- 5Catch a Jobberknoll: This bird-like beast flies. Get as close as possible, use the Nab-Sack, and press the button twice in quick succession ( / / ). Using Disillusionment Charm or Levioso can help.
- 6Speak to Deek and head towards the Mooncalf Den Floo Flame.
- 7Catch a Mooncalf: These beasts only appear at night. Wait until night or change the time on your map. Approach the Mooncalf, use the Nab-Sack, and press the button three times ( / / ). Using Disillusionment Charm, cornering the beast, or Levioso is recommended.
- 8Return to Deek with all three beasts.
- 9Meet Deek in the Room of Requirement to conjure the Vivarium.
- 10Release the captured beasts into the Vivarium.
- 11Brush and feed each beast (Puffskein, Mooncalf, Jobberknoll) to collect materials: Puffskein Fur, Mooncalf Fur, and Jobberknoll Feathers.
- 12Return to Deek and use the Conjuring Spell to place a Loom in the Room of Requirement.
Tips
- For easier captures, use the Disillusionment Charm to get close to beasts without alerting them.
- The Levioso spell can temporarily hold beasts still, making them easier to catch.
- Cornering beasts against environmental objects can limit their escape routes.
- Mooncalves are nocturnal; ensure it is nighttime or set your map to night to find them.
- The Nab-Sack requires holding the button for progressively longer durations for more difficult beasts (Puffskein: 1 press, Jobberknoll: 2 presses, Mooncalf: 3 presses).
