Ancient Magic in Hogwarts Legacy

Did you know that the logo of Hogwarts Legacy itself holds a little easter egg? It contains the swirling, flame-like magic that has come to represent Ancient Magic in the game! You can see a few instances of this in the trailers as well, showing when Ancient Magic is being used!
Howlers
No student wants to receive a Howler, especially from their parents while at school! But in the background as you walk around the school grounds, you just might hear one or two with parents telling their kids off!
Just like Ron Weasley, this poor student seems to be in the middle of a scolding from their parent.
Golden Snitch
A very important part of Quidditch is the Golden Snitch! On the loading screen of the game, you just might catch one flying around.
Alternatively, you may hear one whizzing about the corridors!

House Points
House points were a concept introduced in the movies and books, but it was never made clear in the films how these points were tallied. In the books, the House Points were recorded in magical hourglasses filled with gems!
While House Points are not a mechanic in the game, it's a nice nod to the books!
Goblin Rebellion
The Goblin Rebellion in Hogwarts Legacy isn't the first of it's kind. In fact, there was one in 1612, where an inn in Hogsmeade was the headquarters during that time. While Hermione hadn't explained in the books which Inn she meant, it could only be the Three Broomsticks or the Hog's Head.
This would make this scene from the trailer even more meaningful, considering the possible history!

Gillyweed
While we're not going on underwater adventures in Hogwarts Legacy, that doesn't mean there isn't a nod to it in the game! In fact, you can find a poster for Gillyweed Tonic in Zonko's!
Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon
A familiar phrase for any Hogwarts Student is Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus or in English: Never tickle a sleeping dragon. This motto can be seen in the hall that connects most parts of the castle along with a mural that moves!
List of Game Terms
The Giant Squid
Slytherins would be familiar with the Giant Squid that lives in the lake by their very windows, but players will be able to see them during Flying Class!
If you've got toast to spare, don't forget to give them a slice.

Peeves
While he was not a huge part of the movies, Peeves is the poltergeist everyone knew in the books! He's back with more mischief in Hogwarts Legacy.
You'll normally see him causing chaos around the castle, so keep an eye out!
Wendelin the Weird
Wendelin the Weird was a witch who loved to have herself burned at the stake by casting a charm on herself to keep the flames from hurting her.
You can catch a portrait of her in the Defense Against the Dark Arts tower!
Ominis Gaunt
The house of Gaunt's reputation is as infamous as ever as it was in Harry Potter. Ominis Gaunt is a student you will meet during In the Shadow of the Undercroft and may be an a
