Alright, so you've finished up 'A Dragon Debrief' with Poppy and are ready for the next step in her questline. To kick off 'Poached Egg,' all you need to do is use the 'wait' feature in the game. After a bit, you'll get an owl from Poppy asking you to meet her in Hogsmeade again. Head to the northern circle there, and you'll get things rolling before heading off to snag a missing dragon egg.

Once you get to the general area of the dragon nest, follow the path inside. Your first obstacle will be some mongrels hanging out by a broken bridge. They're not too tough, so make short work of them. Then, carefully make your way to the edge of the bridge – don't fall off, or you'll have a bit of a climb back up! Use your Reparo spell to fix the bridge and continue into the dragon's territory.

After crossing the bridge, a cutscene will play showing the mama dragon is ready to defend her nest. She'll perch on the ruins across the way and start lobbing fireballs at you. Your best bet here is to weave between the debris scattered around the open field to get to the next quest marker.

You'll have to go through three sections like this, dodging fireballs. The dragon seems to have a limited number of attacks per section, so just stay cautious and you should be able to progress without taking too much damage.

After navigating those three areas, you'll find another broken bridge. Cast Reparo again to fix it, then head up towards the dragon's nest. A cutscene will trigger, and you'll successfully return the egg to its mother.

To move on to the next part of Poppy's quest, just use your map to 'wait' again.

Tips

Be mindful of the broken bridges; falling off means backtracking and a bit of a climb.
Use the debris in the open field for cover while dodging the mama dragon's fireballs.
The mongrels aren't a major threat, so focus on getting past them quickly to repair the bridge.
