Taking Independence/Old Guns

After dealing with Bobbi and Hancock, head north to find an unmarked monument. Go near the monument and head south to find a door leading to a Raider camp. Clear the Raiders and make your way east through a wooden shack to discover South Boston High School.

Enter South Boston High School. To the south are bathrooms with a First Aid Box. Follow the ramp upwards to a room with a Chem Station and an [Advanced] locked safe.

Head back outside and continue east past the Raider housing. Hang a left to travel north. Watch out for Frag Mines and proceed to a wooden gate. Open it and kill the Super Mutant and Mongrel.

You will find “The Gwinnett Restaurant” location ahead. Deal with the Super Mutant to the left, then enter the restaurant.

Inside the Gwinnett Restaurant, disarm the can traps and take out the Super Mutants to the left. A Mongrel may rush you; stay near the entrance. Behind the waiter counter, find a Bobby Pin Box.

Head upstairs to the left, near the ledge, to find “Super Mutant Arm Guards” for Strong. Go to the back, hang a right to the bar area. Kill any remaining Super Mutant, check behind the bar for a caps stash and the [Novice] locked “Bar Terminal”. Ignore the elevator and locked [Advanced] terminal for now.

Head back west and go down the stairs. Loot the cash registers and head east into the bathroom. There is a [Novice] locked door on the right with a first aid kit across from it. Loot the junk and first aid kit inside.

Continue past that into the kitchen, killing any Super Mutants and looting for junk. There is a hole in the wall leading to the “brewing area” which connects back to the terminal you skipped.

Head north into a storage room and grab the “Super Mutant Cage Helmet” off a table.

You can either jump down a hole in the wall to the east or go back to the terminal and enter the brewing area. Be prepared for a Super Mutant and a Mirelurk in the mud.

Head up the ramps and hack the [Advanced] terminal. On top, find the “Gwinnett Brewery Password” and a Chemistry Station.

Head down to the watery bottom of the room and enter the gigantic water pipe. Be ready to kill a Mirelurk. Stick to the right at both path splits to reach the Gwinnett Brewery.

In the Gwinnett Brewery, kill the Mirelurks and Mirelurk Eggs in the lower area.

Head back to the entrance (south-west corner) and go up the catwalks. You will find a “Brewery Terminal” next to an [Expert] locked door leading to the front office. Inside the office, find a [Novice] terminal and a [Novice] locked locker.

From the double doors leading to the lobby, jump north-east onto a vat, then to the assembly line. Go east to the pipes and use them to reach a catwalk. Follow the catwalk north-east, then north-west across a strut to reach a room in the upper levels containing a copy of Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor and a Steamer Trunk.

Head back to the walkway and follow four pipes south-east to reach a walkway on the south-eastern end. Turn south-west to find a door out to the roof.

On the roof, there is a door with an [Advanced] lock and another door that is barred. Shoot the bar through the window to unlock the barred door and reach the Duffle Bag inside.

Make your way off the roof and head north-east to find the General Atomics Factory, near the Four Leaf Fishpacking Plant. Mind the Super Mutants in the ruined building along the way and head into the factory.
