Explore Quincy Quarries and Wilson Atomatoys Factory in fallout 4. Defeat Raiders, Super Mutants like Big Mack, and Gunners in Quincy Ruins.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Approach Quincy Quarries in sneak mode as it is held by Raiders.
  2. 2
Clear out the Raiders and their leader, Slough. You can snipe from the north, or clear out the naturally built-in rooms on the south side first.
  3. 3
Head west from the north, follow the wall south to the southern structure, then east down the stairs to enter and clear the southern rooms.
  4. 4
Explore the area: an [Expert] locked trailer on the east side contains a Tool Case and two Ammo Boxes.
  5. 5
In the middle of the southern structure, under the stairs, find an [Advanced] locked Safe and two Ammo Boxes.
  6. 6
In the built-in rooms below, find a [Novice] locked Wooden Crate. Near the water outside, find a yellow trunk and Steamer Trunk among dead settlers.
  7. 7
Explore the wooden shack above for goodies and a cooking station.
  8. 8
Head west and enter the trailer to find two Ammo Boxes and a [Novice] locked Toolbox.
  9. 9
Continue southeast to a Red Rocket; loot it for mechanical junk and pre-war money from the cash register. Save your game.
  10. 10
Head directly south to the “Wilson Atomatoys Factory”.
  11. 11
Take out the Super Mutants inside, including the level 59 “Big Mack” who wields a Minigun and stays on the upper level. Use hit-and-run tactics or stairs to engage him.
  12. 12
Once clear, explore for Giddy-Up Buttercup parts, useful for turret creation.
  13. 13
In the south-west corner, find a First Aid Box.
  14. 14
On the upper floor, the west side has a Steamer Trunk and the “Wilson Atomatoys ID Card” on a desk. Another copy may be on a Super Mutant corpse (not Big Mack's).
  15. 15
Use the ID card to open a door on the ground floor, south-east, to find more Giddyup toy bits and a “Giddyup Buttercup Toy Parts” box (a quest item).
  16. 16
Head to the roof and find a ramp to the “Super Mutant Light Body Armor” (for Strong).
  17. 17
Follow a yellow ramp to a pipe south-west off the roof. Drop down a hole in the pipe to find a steamer trunk with concrete bags. You cannot go back the way you came; drop to the ground below.
  18. 18
On the ground, check the south side of the building for a Fusion Core in the machinery.
  19. 19
Save your game. Head north-east towards the town.
  20. 20
As you approach, hang left to avoid Gunners past the wall and find the entrance to “Quincy Ruins”.
  21. 21
Save your game again before entering Quincy Ruins. Destroy the entrance turret.
  22. 22
Inside, fight numerous Gunners, including three named enemies: Baker, Tessa, and Clint.
  23. 23
Prioritize taking out Baker, who is on top of the church with a Fat Man and will launch mini-nukes. Snipe him from the entrance if possible.
  24. 24
If sniping isn't an option, rush the church to fight from inside, or use a Stealth Boy to sneak to the top and get the drop on Baker.
  25. 25
After dealing with Baker, check his corpse for “Tessa’s Holotape”.
  26. 26
Clear out Gunners around the church and immediate houses.
Tips
  • Use sneak mode when approaching Quincy Quarries due to Raiders and radiation.
  • Consider using Rad-X to mitigate radiation in Quincy Quarries.
  • A hard-hitting close-range weapon like a shotgun is effective in the built-in rooms of Quincy Quarries.
  • The “Wilson Atomatoys ID Card” opens a specific door on the ground floor of the factory.
  • Be prepared for a difficult fight against Big Mack, a level 59 Super Mutant with a Minigun.
  • Baker in Quincy Ruins is a high-priority target due to his Fat Man launcher.
  • If you cannot snipe Baker, using a Stealth Boy to reach him undetected is a viable strategy.
  • Save your game frequently, especially before entering Wilson Atomatoys Factory and Quincy Ruins.
