- 1From Graygarden, travel east into Cambridge. Be aware of Frag Mines on the road.
- 2Upon entering Cambridge, engage and defeat Feral Ghouls.
- 3Locate College Square. The quest objective is south-east, but explore the area first.
- 4Follow a road north-east from a three-way intersection, clearing Ghouls.
- 5Beware of a Feral Ghoul Reaver in a Pulowski Preservation Shelter near a diner on the eastern end of the plaza.
- 6Continue north-east to a barricade patrolled by Ghouls. Find an Explosives Box in a truck bed, guarded by a Feral Ghoul Roamer.
- 7Enter a building west of the barricade (disarm a Tripwire). Loot the building, especially the rooftop shack for a Steamer Trunk.
- 8Cross planks to another building's roof to the south-east, descend, and loot.
- 9From the ground floor of this building, head south-west to find College Square Station.
- 10Before entering the station, go south to a building with a blue shade. On the second floor, loot a Duffle Bag.
- 11Cross a ramp north for two Ammo Boxes. Return to the previous roof and ascend ramps to the third floor to loot the body of Ricca.
- 12Descend stairs east, enter a room north, and find a Tripwire rigged to an explosive device near a counter. Loot the Advanced wall Safe behind it.
- 13Exit the building and enter College Square Station.
- 14From the entrance, head east to find a dead Raider.
- 15Turn north, disarm a Tripwire, loot another Raider. Head down stairs north to the lower level.
- 16Explore bathrooms east and west of the Protectron's location. The western bathroom has a dead Raider. The eastern bathroom has a Ghoul and a Novice Suitcase.
- 17Search two small stores east and west. The eastern store may contain Feral Ghouls and chems.
- 18Continue north, pick an Expert locked door to get behind the Protectron's counter. Loot a First Aid Box, a safe for Pre-War Money and a Stimpak, and grab the 'Live & Love' magazine. Hack the Novice Security Terminal to activate the Protectron. Loot a Nuka Cola Quantum from a Nuka Cola Vending Machine.
- 19Head to the turnstiles east and west, leading to the lower subway platform.
- 20The eastern path leads to a subway tunnel with Raiders and Feral Ghouls. Open a Novice locked door south for a First Aid Box. Follow rails north, enter a subway car west for a Novice Suitcase.
- 21The western path leads to more Feral Ghouls. Through a doorway south, find a Novice Security Terminal that awakens another Protectron.
- 22Follow tracks north, enter a subway car for a Duffle Bag and a Novice Suitcase.
- 23Descend a tunnel west, enter a room north to find a Feral Ghoul, the College Square Station Key, a Steamer Trunk, and junk.
- 24Use the College Square Station Key to open a door [Advanced] to the east, returning to the subway landing room.
- 25Head north down a tunnel to find dead Raiders. One has a note titled "Journal Scrap". Loot a Duffle Bag and a Bottlecap Mine.
- 26Exit College Square.
