Follow our comprehensive Fallout 4 guide to complete the Boston After Dark quest, including retrieving the dead drop, meeting Stockton, and escorting H2-22 to Ticonderoga.
Walkthrough
- 1Retrieve the Dead Drop: Locate a dead drop marked with a Railroad sign southeast of Monsignor Plaza and southwest of Bunker Hill. Pick up Stockton’s Holotape.
- 2Meet Old Man Stockton: Travel to the bazaar of Bunker Hill and speak with Stockton. Respond with _”Countersign”_ to proceed. You will need to eliminate a group of Raiders.
- 3Secure the Rendezvous Point: Head northwest of Bunker Hill to the Cambridge Cathedral. Clear out the Raiders and any Ghouls inside. Wait until at least 10:00 PM for Stockton to arrive with H2-22. Talk to Stockton, and he will leave the synth with you.
- 4Escort H2-22 to Ticonderoga: After High Rise arrives, follow him towards Ticonderoga. Eliminate any Raiders encountered along the way, particularly those near the northern entrance of Monsignor Plaza. Ticonderoga will be marked on your map upon arrival.
- 5Return to Railroad HQ: Report back to Dr. Carrington at Railroad HQ to complete the quest. You may also speak with Drummer Boy to initiate a Weathervane quest with Tinker Tom, or speak with PAM to start the Mercer Safehouse quest.
Tips
- Responding _”covertly”_ to Stockton may lead to a smoother interaction, though it doesn't significantly alter the outcome.
- Be prepared for combat encounters with Super Mutants near a skyscraper if you travel too far north from Bunker Hill, and with Raiders near the BADTFL Regional Office.
- If it is not yet night, use a pew inside the Cambridge Cathedral to advance time to 10:00 PM or later.
- Ticonderoga serves as a new safehouse upon completion of the escort.
- Prioritize the Mercer Safehouse quest from PAM if you wish to unlock Ballistic Weave early.
