Walkthrough
- 1Jalbert Brothers Disposal: Clear out Mole Rats. Be cautious of a tripwire with a Grenade Bouquet in the south-west. Loot a Tool Chest (Novice) on the eastern wall of a shack for an Overdue Book. Nearby is a Rigged Pipe Pistol. Inside the shack, find Brother Edmund’s Journals Terminal (Advanced) and a Floor Safe (Expert) that can be opened with the terminal. A Steamer Trunk is also nearby. Outside, check a Nuka Cola Vending Machine on the western wall for a Nuka Cola Quantum and Nuka Cherry. Pick up a Bottlecap Mine on the ground.
- 2Rocky Narrows Park: Detour west before Graygarden. Fight two Stunted Yao Gui. Loot a trailer for a Steamer Trunk.
- 3Graygarden: Head south-east to Graygarden, inhabited by Mr. Handy robots. Speak with Supervisor White in a greenhouse to learn about Graygarden and get the quest to cleanse their water. Talk to Supervisor Greene near Mutfruit plants; he will give you a new car, which can be traded for 100 Caps (or up to 300 Caps with speech challenges) or traded for junk. Supervisor Brown buys Mutfruit for 2 Caps each.
- 4Graygarden Homestead: Go west from Graygarden. Loot the homestead, including junk. Descend stairs to a basement, pick a locked door (Expert) to find more loot: a Toolbox (Novice), a Safe (Advanced), and a First Aid Box in a bathroom. A Tesla Arc trap is in the western basement corner. Exit the house and head downhill south to a road. Follow the road south-west/south along a river. Loot the back of a truck (Advanced) containing a bed and an Ammo Box. Continue south on the road to reach the Weston Water Treatment Plant.
- 5Weston Water Treatment Plant: Approach cautiously, as Super Mutants are on top. Enemies include a Mongrel Hound, a Super Mutant with a Missile Launcher, a Super Mutant Skirmisher with a Laser Rifle, several Super Mutants with common weapons, and a Super Mutant Suicider. Prioritize taking out the explosive-equipped mutants from a distance using the rocks west of the road as cover. Once the enemies are depleted, proceed south along the road to the flooded plant grounds. Avoid RADS in shallow water. Loot industrial junk and be aware of traps. In the eastern-most building, a scale under water prevents disarming a rigged explosive; triggering it and backtracking should cause it to detonate harmlessly. Enter the plant through the western doors.
- 6Inside Weston Water Treatment Plant: From the lobby, go behind the counter and read the Front Office Terminal for map information. Continue west down a hallway. In a small locker room to the north, find chems in a trash bin, a Duffle Bag, and a First Aid Box. Further west is an elevator; ignore it for now. Head south to a locked door (Advanced) and a small storage closet. Go up nearby stairs to the roof. Find a shelter with a Grounds Terminal (Novice) to hack off spotlights and open a nearby Safe (Expert). Return inside and take the elevator down. Head east to a room with a Machinegun Turret in the north-eastern corner. Investigate the Manager’s Terminal for information. To the north are two doors: one locked (Novice), one unlocked. Go through either door, then through a hole in the wall to find a small room with two Ammo Boxes. Continue down stairs to the east. Your quest will update. Turn north and activate the “Pump Control Switch”.
