Look for slopes leading up to the west. Watch out for more Bloodbugs – they like to hide on the walls and ambush you.

    Clear and Loot the First Area: As you head west, you'll find some stairs leading up to the left. Up there, you'll spot some mines, so be careful and disarm them. After that, head to the western end of the main chamber. You'll see a caged-off section with a sealed door to the south. There's an Advanced terminal on the wall next to it. Hack that terminal to open the door. Inside, you can loot a Steamer Trunk.

    Reach the Elevated Ledge: Now, make your way to the northern end of the chamber and go up the slope to the west. You'll see some pipes you can use to cross over to the east. It's a short trip, and you'll only take a tiny bit of radiation. This gets you to an elevated ledge.

    Final Loot and Discovery: Once you're on the ledge, turn right (south). Keep an eye out for any more mines and disarm them. Here you'll find another Steamer Trunk, a shelf packed with chems, and the prize: a Fusion Core sitting in a fusion reactor. You'll also find the corpse of Russell Sutton. Looting him will get you the Pledge Initiation Instruction holotape, which explains why he met his end here.

  • The Bloodbugs in the canal outside can respawn, so they might become a recurring annoyance if you're settling at Taffington Boathouse. Consider setting up turrets on the boathouse itself, facing the canal, to help deal with them.
