Walkthrough

    Enter the Museum of Freedom and eliminate Raiders on the upper levels.

    Proceed through the museum, using stealth to take down enemies in presentation rooms.

    In the basement, unlock the security door or hack the computer terminal to access a locked room.

    Retrieve the Fusion Core from the locked room; this is required for the mission.

    Head upstairs, past a locked door, and loot the Cap Stash in the corner near a red light.

    Return to the skipped door, enter the room, and defeat the two Raiders debating leaving.

    Speak with Mama Murphy on the couch and pass a Speech Check about her "Sight" for XP and a warning.

    Head outside to the Power Armor on the roof. Pick up the Log - SSG Michael Daly Holotape.

    Place the Fusion Core into the Power Armor and enter it.

    Rip the Minigun off the Vertibird.

    Exit the museum and use the Power Armor and Minigun to eliminate all hostile Raiders in the area.

    As you advance, a Deathclaw will emerge; focus your fire on it in short bursts.
Tips
  • Use VATS to easily target enemies, especially those behind cover or on higher levels.
  • The gate in the museum can be unlocked with an Advanced lockpick skill, and Bobby Pins are nearby.
  • Sneak attacks can be very effective against Raiders, especially in the presentation rooms and on the third level.
  • If your Charisma is low for the Mama Murphy Speech Check, equip Charisma-boosting items or drink alcohol.
  • You take no fall damage while in Power Armor, allowing for aggressive maneuvers.
  • Focus fire on the Deathclaw in controlled bursts, as it dodges erratically.
