Alright, so you're looking for the Ranger Cabin in Fallout 4? It's a pretty straightforward spot, southeast of Sanctuary. Just head south from Sanctuary and keep an eye on your compass – you'll see a house icon pop up. It's hard to miss, sitting atop a hill overlooking the swamp.

Before you even get inside, you'll probably run into a few Bloatflies hanging around outside. They're annoying, but easy enough to deal with. Once they're cleared, head on in.

Inside the cabin, you'll find a couple of useful things. First up is the Wasteland Survival Guide. Snagging this gives you a nice little bonus: +5% damage reduction against melee attacks. Definitely worth picking up! Also, look for the “Runaway’s Holotape” tucked away in a suitcase. If you need to craft some chems, there's a Chemistry Station out back you can use.

The Ranger Cabin itself isn't a huge place, but it's a good little stop for some decent loot, especially that Survival Guide. If you look northwest from here, you'll spot a Raider camp under an electrical tower. To the east/southeast, you'll find Abernathy Farm, also under an electrical tower. And if you look south/southeast, you should be able to see the Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup area right from the cabin.
