  1. 1
Fast travel to the dead drop location and retrieve the "Augusta Report" holotape.
  2. 2
Fast travel to the Campus Law Offices building in Cambridge.
  3. 3
From the eastern exit of the Campus Law Offices, head north-east towards Kendall Hospital.
  4. 4
Enter Kendall Hospital through the blue double doors on the western end, up some stairs.
  5. 5
Head up stairs to the east, then through a blue door to the south into a small room.
  6. 6
Ignore the locked door to the south (requiring a Novice Terminal hack for XP only) and proceed east, then south through another blue door.
  7. 7
Enter the bonfire room to the south-west, dealing with the Raiders and their turret.
  8. 8
Loot the area, specifically looking for the Overdue Book on a bookshelf outside a small room opposite the counter.
  9. 9
In the bonfire room, find a pile of Railroad Agent bodies and Synth remains.
  10. 10
In the southern corner, find a floor Safe [Advanced] behind a counter and a Terminal to activate a Protectron.
  11. 11
Locate another "Book Return Terminal" to turn in Overdue Books for garbage rewards.
  12. 12
Continue south-east around a corner and head up stairs overlooking the bonfire room.
  13. 13
Go through a doorway to the north-west, then another larger room.
  14. 14
Proceed through a doorway to the south-west, down a hallway, past a bin of Railroad Agents, then turn south-east and go through a hole in the wall.
  15. 15
Clear the room beyond for junk, then exit back north-west onto the balcony.
  16. 16
Take the Elevator up to the sixth floor.
  17. 17
Exit the elevator and head down a hallway to the south-west, then zig-zag to a turret overlooking a ramp.
  18. 18
Dispatch the turret and head through a doorway in front of the ramp to the south-east.
  19. 19
Loot through two rooms, then go down the ramp.
  20. 20
Head south-east through a small room into a larger room with an Ammo Box and junk.
  21. 21
Turn north-east, proceed through a bathroom and another small room, then exit via a blue door to the north-west into a nursery.
  22. 22
Head south-west through another doorway, then through double doors into a large, ruined room with a Raider stronghold.
  23. 23
Engage the Raiders in the stronghold.
  24. 24
Head along a walkway to the south-west, then down a ramp to a landing with a blue door [Advanced].
  25. 25
Through the blue door, you can find a Syringer Rifle and a shortcut.
  26. 26
Cross a bridge to the east to another platform, ascend stairs to the north-east (looting an Ammo Box behind them).
  27. 27
Turn south-west and head down two flights of stairs, looting a First Aid Box in between.
  28. 28
Turn north-west and go down a ladder, then head through a hole in the wall to the north-west to reach a room with a bed.
  29. 29
Find another Overdue Book on the bookshelf near the bed.
  30. 30
Search a desk in this room to find the "Augusta Station Last Update" holotape, which is the objective for Carrington.
  31. 31
From the bed, turn north-east and go through another blue door, then continue north-east.
Tips
  • The "Augusta Report" is the primary objective, but collecting Overdue Books can also be done during this quest.
  • The Raider stronghold in the large ruined room on the upper floors is a sniper's paradise if you have a suppressed, long-range weapon.
  • The blue door [Advanced] on the landing after the Raider stronghold leads to a shortcut and a Syringer Rifle.
  • Be prepared for Raiders and turrets throughout Kendall Hospital.
  • Hacking the Novice Terminal in the first section grants XP but is not required to progress.
