Learn how to unlock J's Bar door in Resident Evil Outbreak. This guide covers barricading the entrance, collecting essential items, and rescuing Bob.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon entering J's Bar, zombies will begin attacking the entrance. Immediately run to the south side of the bar and push the two barrels in front of the door to delay the zombies.
  2. 2
After barricading the door, explore the bar to collect items. You can find a HANDGUN on the south side, a FIRST AID SPRAY and a PESTICIDE SPRAY on the other side, a STAFF ROOM KEY on the west side, and a BUTCHER KNIFE in the sink. Prioritize obtaining a HANDGUN and the STAFF ROOM KEY.
  3. 3
Open your menu (START), select the STAFF ROOM KEY, and use it to unlock the blue door. Do not proceed through the door yet.
  4. 4
Directly behind the blue door, pick up the PLAYING MANUAL 1 from the sparkle on the ground.
  5. 5
Enter the bathrooms. In the women's bathroom, you will find a SCRUB BRUSH. In the men's bathroom, you will find another HANDGUN and a GREEN HERB.
  6. 6
Another GREEN HERB is located at the end of the hallway with the bathrooms.
  7. 7
If playing with Bob (a security guard who is not doing well), you can choose to help him. Walk beside him and press X to shoulder him.
  8. 8
Lead Bob to the unlocked blue door. Press CIRCLE to release him, then press X to open the door.
  9. 9
Proceed through the now unlocked blue door.
Tips
  • If you have trouble seeing, pause the game (SELECT) and increase the brightness.
  • If playing as Yoko, exit the Women's Bathroom if you haven't already.
  • Kevin has a powerful handgun, but its ammo is scarce. It's still advisable to carry a regular HANDGUN.
  • Be aware that a cutscene may play showing zombies breaking through the door, indicating you are running out of time.
  • Collecting all items may not be possible as partners may take some.
  • Helping Bob is tied to several checklist events for the level, but is not essential for a first playthrough.
Proceeding through the unlocked door advances the level.
