Resident Evil Outbreak scenario walkthrough covering barricades, keys, puzzles, forklift, and escape. Learn how to complete all objectives.
Walkthrough
- 1Build a barricade out of barrels by shoving the two barrels before zombies invade J's Bar.
- 2Use the staff room key. The key is on the interior of the bar table in EASY/NORMAL difficulty. On HARD/VERY HARD, the key is on the body of Will (the waiter) after zombies invade the room. Use the item on the door leading to the stairs in 1F J's Bar.
- 3Use the key with blue tag. The key is on the coffee table in the corner of the Staff Room in EASY/NORMAL difficulty. On HARD/VERY HARD, the key is on the chair in the balcony in the Owner's Room. Use the KEY WITH BLUE TAG on the door in the 2F Staff Room leading to the 2F Wine's Room.
- 4Solve the painting puzzle by inserting the ALCOHOL BOTTLE into the painting in the 2F Owner's Room. The ALCOHOL BOTTLE can be obtained in the Wine Room or the Liquor Room.
- 5Unlock a cabinet (Alyssa only). Use the S-PICK in EASY/NORMAL difficulty or the W-PICK in HARD/VERY HARD difficulty.
- 6Move cargo with the forklift. Obtain the FORKLIFT KEY. The key is on the table in the Wine Room in EASY/NORMAL difficulty. On HARD/VERY HARD, the key is in the desk of the Owner's Room (after completing task 4). Use the FORKLIFT KEY on the forklift in the 3F Liquor Room.
- 7Destroy the liquor room shutter. Open it from another side or break it down from the 3F Liquor Room. It is considered done even if zombies open it.
- 8Destroy the wire fence on the rooftop. Use tackle, a gun, or a melee weapon and attack the weakened portion of the wire fence until it falls.
- 9Read all graffiti with a lighter. Use the LIGHTER on the texts behind the ladder of the liquor shelf near the barrel in the Liquor Room; on the ROOFTOP near the door of the Storage Room near the boxes; on the STAIRS BETWEEN 3F and ROOFTOP area on the wall of the stairs on the left side; on the wall where you can find a BLUE HERB in the 3F Liquor Room in the corner of the room in the last turn; and on the TOP FLOOR OF THE OTHER APARTMENT on the side of the elevator.
- 10Build a patrol car barricade. Push the 2 patrol cars on the left (one near the cop, one near the J's Bar entrance) all the way in until they are blocked by horizontal cars. Make sure no zombies or Plague Crawlers block the path in front of the car you push, or you can't push it all the way in.
- 11Open the gasoline tanker valve. The gasoline tanker is in the back area of the slope along the canal. The valve handle is at the back of the gasoline tanker.
- 12Use the lighter to ignite gas. Use "LIGHTER" while standing on the dry surface after task 11.
- 13Activate the detonator. Obtain the DETONATOR HANDLE (on the left middle side of the Main Street) and the DETONATOR MAIN UNIT (on the corpse of the cop on the right side of the Main Street). Combine them to form the DETONATOR.
- 14Kill zombies and survive. Complete task 12 first. Use the DETONATOR by the fuse unit in the middle of the street near the middle cop (Eric) in Main Street and end the game.
- 15Escape the zombies and survive. All surviving players must be in 1F Behind the Residential Area. If one teammate died, the remaining 3 players must be there in Network mode. The bridge scene must be triggered first (go and run halfway through the bridge to trigger the scene). Talk to Dorian (patrol van cop) and choose YES to escape. No playable character should be in the Main Street or the Footbridge when you talk to Dorian.
- 16Collect every map. The J's Bar Map is in the 2F Break Room. The Street Map is in 1F In Front of J's Bar.
- 17Die in the gas tanker explosion. Wait for the explosion cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) to be triggered and don't jump into the water. You have to die here to trigger this event.
- 18Obtain "newspaper." Found in 2F Staff Room.
- 19Obtain "Jack's memo." Found in 2F Owner's Room. Solve the painting puzzle to unlock the desk, then take it.
- 20Obtain "staffer's diary." Found in 2F Locker Room.
- 21Obtain "Raccoon Today." Found in 1F In Front of Apple Inn.
- 22Screams in the owner's room. This is a random event with a 1/16 chance of happening, triggered as you get into the room.
- 23Saw crow fly into drawing room. Get close to the window on EASY difficulty in the Drawing Room.
- 24Saw bottle break in wine room. This is a random event with a 1/16 chance of happening, triggered when you get deeper into the room.
- 25Saw bottle break in liquor room. This is a random event with a 1/16 chance of happening, triggered when you are near the doorway in the middle of the room.
- 26Heard screams in front of J's. This is a random event with a 1/16 chance of happening. It triggers when you walk down the steps and down the area against Raymond. Travel down until the camera shifts to view your character from inside the clothes store. As soon as the camera angle changes, a scream might initialize. If not, retry. It is a RANDOM event, and there is no way to increase the chance of it happening.
- 27Watched "Will Becomes A Zombie." Carry Bob to the door that requires the STAFF ROOM KEY in J's Bar. Wait in front of that door (the door which leads to the 2F) with Bob on your shoulder before the zombies invade the area. This is for MARK only. Wait for the zombies to invade the area. The scene will be triggered immediately after the zombies invade J's Bar. You cannot build the Barrel Barricade to trigger this event.
- 28Watched "Bob Gets Worse." MARK must be alive, and Bob must be in the Staff Room. Use the NAIL GUN to build the barricade. No zombies must be near the wooden plank barricade.
- 29Watched "Bob's Suicide." Bring Bob to the rooftop. MARK must be alive. This is for EASY/NORMAL/HARD difficulty only.
- 30Watched "Bob Becomes A Zombie." Bring Bob to the rooftop. MARK must be alive. This is for VERY HARD difficulty only.
- 31Watched "Block Staff Door." Obtain the NAIL GUN in the 2F Staff Room stable. The NAIL GUN must be fully loaded (20 shots). Use the NAIL GUN on the wooden planks.
