Walkthrough

As soon as you emerge into the B4F WEST AREA PASSAGE, obtain the CUSTODIAN'S DIARY on the ground nearby if this is your initial visit.

Use the LAB CARDKEY on the shutter.

Beyond the shutter, be aware that if you are playing on HARD or VERY HARD difficulty, an active Hunter (a type of enemy) will be present.

The door beyond the shutter is locked for now. The middle door is broken.

The giant frozen door on the left is optional. You will go to that area later, so unless you want to save your game, do not enter it yet.

Return to the B4F MAIN SHAFT.

Tips

The CUSTODIAN'S DIARY is only available on your first visit to this area.
Be prepared for a Hunter encounter on higher difficulties after using the LAB CARDKEY.
The frozen door on the left can be used to save your game, but it leads to an area you will visit later.
