Your Resident Evil Outbreak walkthrough continues! Learn how to grab the Back Square Key Card and find a crucial Orders file in the 1F Back Square.

Alright, so you've made your way to the 1F Back Square, and a cutscene's about to kick off. Once it's done, your first priority is grabbing the BACK SQUARE KEY CARD. You'll find it on a UBCS corpse chilling by a truck – it's pretty straightforward on EASY and NORMAL difficulties. Go ahead and snag that key card.

Now, there's a double door nearby that the key card unlocks. Don't go through it just yet! Here's a pro tip: consider trading a healing item for the key card. Trust me, you'll be back here later for a boss fight, and having a healing item stashed away will be a lifesaver, even with all the other stuff lying around.

Instead of heading through that door, turn around and move forward from the square. On the left side, you'll find another UBCS member. Search them for an ORDERS file. Keep an eye out for the MAP near the corner of this area, right by a giant gate. If you're feeling thorough, poke around for any extra herbs, but remember, you'll be returning here later, so maybe don't grab *everything* just yet.

Once you're done exploring this section, make your way to the manhole located at the corner of the room.

Pro Tip: If you're feeling a bit cheeky and want to speed things up, you can use the door you just unlocked with the Back Square Key Card to return to PASSAGE B. From there, take the nearest door back to the ENTRANCE HALL. This will trigger the Thanatos (that's the Tyrant!) to invade the University. As soon as he shows up, do a 180 and sprint back to PASSAGE B before the door slams shut. Head to the panel there and zap the Thanatos while he's standing under some loose wires. This is a great way to snag the T-BLOOD from his neck once he falls, saving you a lot of hassle later. After that, you can use the elevator to reach 3F, put the T-Blood in the incubator in the LABORATORY to free up a slot, and then use your map to navigate back to the BACK SQUARE to continue on.
