Phases:

1. Normal Attacks: Valefor uses its standard attack and Sonic Wings, which can inflict Delay.
2. Energy Ray: Used when its Overdrive gauge is sufficiently full.
3. Energy Blast: Valefor's powerful Overdrive attack.

Strategy:

• This fight is a good indicator of how you'll fare against Belgemine's other Aeons. If you're having trouble, consider spending more time developing Yuna's Sphere Grid to boost her stats and abilities.
• Valefor doesn't have any surprising tricks up its sleeve; it uses its standard set of moves.
• Pay attention to Valefor's Overdrive gauge. When it's getting full, prepare for its powerful Energy Blast attack.
• The rewards for defeating Valefor are Lightning Gems (x4) the first time, and Power Spheres (x4) on subsequent battles.
