Alright, let’s talk about the Tonberry! This guy is a rare fiend you’ll run into in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. You’ll usually find it more often in the greener sections of the cave. Listen for its distinctive noises when a battle starts – that’s your cue!

The Tonberry likes to play keep-away at first. It’ll start the fight pretty far from your party and takes a step forward each turn. After about four steps, it’ll close the distance and hit you with a physical attack. But watch out! While it’s advancing, it has a chance to use Karma. This attack deals damage based on how many enemies the character you’re controlling has defeated – basically, the number of enemies defeated multiplied by 10. So, if you’ve been racking up kills, Karma can really sting!

Here’s a neat trick: if you summon an Aeon, the Tonberry will immediately use Voodoo on it, which deals a hefty 9,999 damage. If you're finding it tough to take down, you can actually put the Tonberry to sleep. While it’s snoozing, you can safely use magic attacks because it won’t counter. Pretty handy, right?
